Welcome to Panthers Strength and Conditioning. Perkiomen School strives to promote the health and wellness of the entire community. The Strength and Conditioning department is available to everyone, from students to faculty, in order to help them reach their fitness goals. Whether you wish to train to play collegiate athletics or are just trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle, the Panthers Strength and Conditioning Program is there to support you.
"Investing in an experienced strength and conditioning coach will positively impact athletes at all levels. Mr. Bixler’s expertise in training top athletes will prepare our students who are driven to continue to compete at the college level and beyond. His wealth of experience training budding young athletes as well as faculty and staff will help us to become a healthier community. We’re fortunate to have this alum join our Perkiomen Team!" - Mark A. Devey, Head of School
Mr. Kyle Bixler ’00 has joined the Perkiomen Community to lead our Strength and Conditioning program. Mr. Bixler joined us July 1, marking a significant shift in our athletics and health and wellness efforts, as we move this program in-house.
“I’m looking forward to returning to my alma mater,” says Bixler. “With 18 years of strength and conditioning coaching experience, I’m excited to work with the Perkiomen athletes. My main goal is to help them grow both mentally and physically to become stronger athletes!”
Bixler is a long-time coach and competitor. As a Perkiomen Student, he was a member of the basketball team. After graduation, he continued his basketball career at Neumann University then set his sights on strength training. He currently owns and manages a strongman promotional company that has promoted 85 contests across Pennsylvania and Delaware. He also operates two personal training studios in the area.
Bixler has also been an educator. As a physical education teacher, he has been involved in schools and strength and conditioning since 2008. His knowledge and experience lead him to be the perfect addition to the growing athletics program at Perkiomen School. The addition of Bixler to the staff is an investment in Panther student-athletes, giving them an extra edge in preparing them for competition and sports after high school.
