Casey PerlsteinHead Coach
Casey Perlstein teaches science at Perkiomen and serves as our Head Football Coach as well as an Assistant Coach for Track and Field.
Coach Perlstein enters his fourth year as a coach at Perkiomen and joined us after a three year stay at Upper Perkiomen High School as an Offensive Coordinator for their football team. He is a graduate of Kutztown University (’16) with a degree in physics. He was a member of the football team at Kutztown for three years. C
oach Perlstein shares his excitement for this year: “I am very excited to get back to playing games this fall after missing the 2020 season. We have a great group of juniors and seniors that could take us far this year.”

Kieran TrainerAssistant Coach
Kieran Trainer teaches English and history and coaches football and track and field.
Coach Trainer joins us with an extensive background in teaching, most recently at Sacred Heart. Other schools include Simon Gratz (2018-2019) and La Salle College High School (2015-2018). He also joins us with a background in coaching. He was the Football Defensive Line Coach at La Salle from 2015-2018 and Simon Gratz from 2018-2019. He also has coached wrestling. He is a graduate of Loyal University Maryland (’15) where he majored in history with a minor in Secondary Education.
Coach Trainer shares: “I’m looking forward to seeing some hard work.”

Kevin MaleyAssistant CoachCoach Maley is a passionate and dedicated coach with a strong background in education and a deep love for sports. His coaching journey started during his college years when he coached high school sports. He coached and taught at independent schools Germantown Academy and The Hun School of Princeton, benefiting from his father's 30+ years of coaching experience in the same region. As a former college athlete at Gwynedd-Mercy University in both basketball and track & field, where he received all-conference honors, he understands the commitment and challenges athletes face. His educational background in education equips him to create a positive learning environment, emphasizing values like teamwork and sportsmanship. His coaching philosophy centers on personal growth and character development, on and off the field or court, as he help the next generation of athletes reach their full potential.
