Varsity Golf

Peter Dougherty teaches mathematics at Perkiomen and is Head Coach for Fall and Spring Golf.

Coach Dougherty is a veteran coach at Perkiomen, returning for his 33rd year coaching Golf. He also has experience coaching lacrosse and power lifting at the school as well as coaching experience at the college level as a lacrosse coach at the University of Hartford. He is a graduate of the University of Hartford (’86, ’88) where he was an athlete and earned his BSBA as well as his MBA.

Coach Dougherty shares his outlook on this year: “New additions to the team as well as improvement from returning players should prove to give a solid team.”

David McMillin teaches history and Latin and also coaches golf.

Coach McMillin is a graduate of Dickinson College (’90) and has been involved with coaching both soccer and golf at all levels, from recreational to varsity. He looks to bring his knowledge this year to help teams succeed in their upcoming seasons.

Coach McMillin’s coaching philosophy is: “I always look for players to have fun while learning new skills.”
