Olympic Lifting
Olympic weightlifting in high school offers students the opportunity to develop strength, power, and technique while competing in a supportive and challenging environment. It helps students build discipline, focus, and mental toughness as they strive to improve their performance. Coach Bixler provides guidance on proper form and technique, emphasizing the importance of safety. He is a USA Weightlifting Level 2 Certified National Coach. Participation in Olympic weightlifting can also lead to valuable lessons in goal setting, perseverance, and teamwork, making it a rewarding experience for high school students.
