Head Coach
Mike Kruger enters his first season at the helm of the Perkiomen School Boys’ Lacrosse Program. A seasoned coach with over 13 years of collegiate and high school coaching experience, Coach Kruger has compiled a 42-21 record as a high school head coach in just 4 seasons. In that short time, he has been named a U.S. Lacrosse Coach of the Year, has mentored 4 U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-Americans, 5 U.S. Lacrosse High School All-Americans, and numerous All-League players. Additionally, he has helped student-athletes continue their lacrosse careers at the following schools: Penn, High Point, Vermont, Bellarmine, Princeton, Brown, Air Force, Johns Hopkins, Williams, St. Lawrence, RPI, RIT, Swarthmore, Roanoke, Christopher Newport, and more.
Prior to coaching at the prep school level, Coach Kruger spent 9 seasons at the NCAA Division I and Division III levels. At the University of Vermont, he was the Defensive and Recruiting Coordinator, helping UVM to one of the best seasons in program history and first ever berth in the America East title game in 2016. At UVM, Coach Kruger helped mentor an America East Rookie of the Year, America East Offensive Player of the Year, numerous All-Conference players, the first All-American for the program in over 3 decades, former members of the Canadian Under-19 National Team, and current MLL and PLL players. Before UVM, Coach Kruger was the head coach at Shenandoah University, assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Washington and Lee University, and assistant coach at Trinity College. During his career at the Division III level, he mentored numerous All-Conference and All-American selections.
As a player, Coach Kruger was a four-year starting goalie at Fairfield University. He currently ranks third on the All-Time Saves List at Fairfield and helped lead the Stags to a conference championship win over Denver and NCAA tournament berth in 2005. Originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, Coach Kruger played his high school lacrosse at Calvert Hall, one of the best high school programs in the nation, where he helped lead the team to an MIAA Championship in 2003.
Also an Associate Director of Athletics at Perkiomen, Coach Kruger resides right off campus with his wife, two daughters, and 13 year-old Coonhound named Jake

Assistant Coach
Terry Mangan comes to Perkiomen from St. John’s University in New York, where he was an assistant lacrosse coach since 2014.
Coach Mangan was the head coach at Lafayette College for 10 seasons, where he was named the 2010 Patriot League Coach of the Year. His teams at Lafayette were ranked nationally as high as #8. He has coached a Patriot League Player of the Year, an All American and an Academic All American, as well as a Lowe’s Senior Class Award finalist. Mangan has also coached several All-League selections, Tewaaraton Award watch list players, students named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and a Major League Lacrosse draft choice. He also served on the US Lacrosse Board of Directors from 2006-2010.
Mangan has also served as an assistant coach at the University of Massachusetts, Hobart College, University of Pennsylvania and the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.
From 2012-2014, Mangan was the curriculum and college recruiting manager at Trilogy Lacrosse in Brooklyn, NY. He also did color commentary and sideline analysis on college lacrosse games for Fox Sports, ESPN3, and the Big East Digital Network.

Assistant Coach
Mark Longstreth is a veteran Perkiomen School faculty member and coach. He is part of our English Department and has 33 years of coaching experience. Coach Longstreth currently serves as the Assistant Varsity Coach for Girls Soccer as well as the JV Boys Lacrosse Coach.
Coach Longstreth has a wide range of coaching experience. He was the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Haverford College as well as previously coaching Boys Lacrosse at Penncrest High School. At Perkiomen, he previously coached basketball and has spent the last five years as the Assistant Varsity Girls Soccer Coach and the JV Boys Lacrosse Coach. He is a graduate of Haverford College where he studied English. At Haverford, he was a four-year letter winner and captain of the basketball team. He also was a four-year letter winner and captain for lacrosse.

Assistant Coach
Coach Koffel enters his 5th year at Perkiomen. He serves as part of the Admissions team, overseeing Summer Programs and is the Head Coach for boys JV soccer as well as an Assistant for boys lacrosse. In his time at Perkiomen, he has also coached middle school boys soccer, middle school boys basketball, middle school boys lacrosse, and was an assistant coach for boys varsity soccer.
In high school, Coach Koffel was a two sport athlete: baseball and soccer. He continued his academic and baseball career at Centenary University (NJ) where he majored in Secondary Education with a focus in History.
