Head Coach
Perkiomen School welcomes John Caldera as its Head Coach for the Boys Prep Basketball team. In addition to serving as head coach, he will also serve as an assistant coach for the Boys National Basketball team. With the continued drive to create college-ready student-athletes, Caldera’s addition will bring even more knowledge and experience to Perkiomen’s program.
Caldera was a member of the Sussex County Community College Basketball team from 2011 to 2012. He then went on to earn his Sports Management degree from East Stroudsburg University in 2017. During his time at ESU, he served as East Stroudsburg South’s Varsity Basketball Assistant coach from 2012 to 2018 where he helped lead the 2018 team to the first District 11 6A championship in school history. After graduating, Caldera moved to Blair Academy where he was the Assistant Boys Basketball coach from 2019-2022.
